Hwy 400 North to Parry Sound Hwy 69 North to Sudbury Hwy 17 West to Hwy 129 Right on Hwy 129 north at Thessalon After approximately 80km, watch for the Whispering Winds sign at Seymour Lake Road (you will cross Rapid River on the Baily Bridge about 4km before you get to Seymour Lake Road). Turn right on Seymour Lake Road and travel about 14 km to Whispering Winds. Keep right, watch for signs. Total trip 7-8 hours from Toronto.

Cross border at Sault Ste. Marie. Hwy 17 East to Hwy 129 Right on Hwy 129 north at Thessalon After approximately 50 miles, watch for the Whispering Winds sign at Seymour Lake Road (you will cross Rapid River on the Baily Bridge about 3 miles before you get to Seymour Lake Road). Turn right on Seymour Lake Road and travel about 8 miles to Whispering Winds. Keep right, watch for signs. Total trip 2-3 hours from Sault Ste. Marie.
Please note that Seymour Lake Road is a hard packed dirt road and can be traversed by all types of vehicles. Enjoy the scenery and be aware of road conditions and wildlife. We also have fly-in service available. Please call our office at 705-785-3782 for more information.

Water pumped from Seymour Lake into our reservoir to supply the water system is fine for washing. Drinking water is not supplied. Please bring your own drinking and cooking water. We have bottled water on-hand.
Do not bathe or wash hair in our pristine lake. Personal water craft are permitted. Waterskis, tubing & wakeboards are prohibited.
The nearest emergency medical facility is located in Thessalon, 1 1/2 hours away from camp. We have an emergency phone at camp.
We do NOT have hydro electric power. Appliances and lights are propane powered. Please bring flashlights - candles are prohibited. We do have solar powered lighting for your use at night.
No Pets please. We are located in a remote wilderness environment where indigenous animals roam free.
Grocery store, farm berry picking and shopping is located in the nearest town, Thessalon, 1 1/2 hours from camp. Nearest corner store is 3/4 hour drive away, at Black Creek Outfitters.
Seymour Lake Road is a hard-packed dirt road that can be traversed by cars, SUV's and trucks - please drive according to road conditions and enjoy the scenery.
